I am raising money for a very dear friend and her family. Tricia and Carl Betton have been married for over 15 years. They have three children and 6 wonderful grandchildren. A few years ago Tricia made the decision to move her father from Niagra falls to her home in McDonough, Georgia after he lost both of his legs due to complications from diabetes.
Soon after her husband was diagnosed with Stage 4 Lung Cancer. Her husband was soon unable to work due to the physically exhausting chemo treatments and his failing health. She lost her job of 6 years right before Christmas. She has just recently started a new job, and the stress of being the only person working and the main caregiver have taken its toll on their family. Her husband was released from the Cancer Treatment Center after a week, to only end up in the emergency room days later, finding out that his leg needed to be amputated. This surgery was done March 19th, and he is currently recovering in the hospital. Nothing in her house is handicapped accessible, for the now two disabled family members she cares for. I am starting this page for her because she is the type of person that would never ask for help for fear of putting people out. Between time taken off of work and bills that continue to pile up, their family is struggling. ANY help for this family is greatly appreciated. Any donation that can be given to this family during such a critically difficult time is invaluable. If anyone knows of any resources in the Henry County area that can help, that would be valuable information as well. Above all else, please keep the Betton family in your prayers, as nothing is stronger than the power of prayer, and with God all things are possible.
