Hi- this is Mark, and I am asking for help for my beautiful and amazing wife Natasha as we, once again, after five terrible years, find ourselves in a place of real hope and desperation.
The video of her journey is a must-see to understand her suffering, her strength, our tragedy and now her renewed hope. Although hopeful, this video is difficult to watch, so please, no children.

Here is the heartbreaking side of our story, or, more specifically, Natasha's story - a story about survival and remaining hopeful even in the darkest circumstances.
Challenges and complications have become a regular part of our narrative. They started in 2013 when Natasha was diagnosed with Lyme Disease. Her condition weakened her immune system, resulting in mold toxicity growing within her body.
Lyme and mold toxicity put immense pressure on Natasha's brain. Within months, she became emaciated, was screaming, writhing in pain, and living in the dark, unable to care for herself. She was expected to die at 39 years old and was offered placement in hospice care.
As a last-ditch effort, we left our life and house in Denver and moved to Seattle, Washington. We found a doctor there who gave Natasha another chance at life. Within one year and four months under his care, she went from a hospice order to 80% recovered and able to care for herself. We began planning a family and started IVF for twins. We were filled with gratitude, love & hope for a new beginning.
We never imagined we'd be here again…
For the past few years, we haven't been able to provide updates on Natasha's health because we are embroiled in a lengthy lawsuit with a different doctor, who unknowingly to us at the time of treating Natasha, had suffered from impaired thinking /cognitive dysfunction.
This doctor prescribed Natasha the wrong medicine in too large a dose, creating a severe decline in her health and immune system. The incorrect medication caused extreme inflammation, intensifying the pain and pressure on her brain. It wasn't long before Natasha could not care for herself and was fighting for her life again.
We didn’t know this doctor had suffered from impaired thinking / cognitive dysfunction, which she only admitted to us after it was too late.
The lawsuit keeps getting postponed, but Natasha still needs extensive medical care, which brings us here.
The lawsuit has been pushed from February 2022 to July 2022 to December 2023. We hoped the money from our lawsuit would have assisted us in recouping some of the $240,000 lost in out-of-pocket expenses; the $150,000 in medical debt due to this doctor's negligence. And the $6,000+ in medical costs (above our household expenses) we still continue to pay each month to keep Natasha alive.
After almost 5 years, Natasha is starting to show small improvements. Now, we find ourselves in dire straits, struggling to stay afloat and pay our basic expenses amidst medical care, medical debts, and now we must sell our home.
We know Natasha still has a long road ahead to finish her treatments. Despite the stress and weight of our situation, we see the light at the end of the tunnel. But we need your help.
Adding to the duress of Natasha’s current condition, she cannot breathe outside air without getting mold exposure. We have exhausted all of our resources and are faced with having to sell our home to continue Natasha's treatments, just when she is showing improvement.
We have been living through faith, grace and with the hope of a better tomorrow and are now in an impossible situation we hoped the lawsuit would have relieved.
Our friends and family have done so much for us already. We are eternally grateful for the generosity and kindness you have shown us throughout this journey.
Natasha’s life is at stake as a solution is within reach.
Any amount will help, and if you would please share our post with your friends and they share it with their friends and friends of friends, we believe we can get there.
Thank you again for all the prayers, love and support you have shown us over the years
Gratefully,
Mark and Natasha
