An all too familiar story for so many people.
On May 4th, Sean Anzalone was admitted into the ICU for what we now know to be a bacterial infection that spread to his heart, lungs, brain, and ultimately his spine leading to one of the most serious cases of meningitis many of his nurses and doctors had ever encountered. As an i-9 employee, Sean made too much money to qualify for proper government assistance but not enough money for basic healthcare coverage.
Sean has been out of work since mid-April. Doctors are telling us it will take months before he is fully able to return to work and live a regular life.
Many people know Sean through the local AZ music scene. We are hosting an amazing relief concert on June 23rd at the Yucca Tap Room and we hope that you can join us.
