Benefit for the DiSaia family

Hi there, my name is Marissa. Brandon DiSaia has worked for me for almost a year now and I've heard him explain his mom (Tina DiSaia) story often. Brandon is 1 of 5 children ages 3 to 18.

October 5, 2020 Tina Disaia was diagnosed with head and neck cancer. On November 17, she had surgery to remove the tumor from a 1/3 of her tongue, they also removed and tested 14 lymph nodes. Which 3 lymph nodes came back positive for the cancer spreading putting her in stage four. On January 5 she started chemotherapy and radiation, a week in she had to have emergency tracheotomy due to her airway closing and a feeding tube put in. They found out that the cancer had mutated and came back more aggressive. She completed 37 rounds of radiation and 3 very heavy chemotherapy sessions. On May 18, 2021 for her 90 day PET scan we found out the cancer has spread to numerous areas of her body from her clavicles, side of her neck, tongue, shoulder and lungs. The family is currently waiting for a treatment plan to start immunotherapy soon.

Though out the summer Tina has been in and out of the hospital for long periods of time..
