Benefit for Heather

As most of you know my sister has been really sick. 

She went to the dr last Friday 1/3/2020 from being sick a few days before that and had some blood work done that resulted in a chest X-ray where they found a large mass in her lung. That night she was having trouble breathing and ended up in the emergency room at Ohio County Hospital and ended up being transferred to Deaconess Gateway Hospital in ICU. Since then she keeps getting fluid in her lungs and it got so bad she had to have a chest tube put in on the right side to have all that drained. She was put on full sedation Monday and on a ventilator because she couldn’t breath on her own.  They have also done several chest X-rays to find that she has lots of pus pockets in her chest that need to be removed. The last 2 days she has had a procedure done where she has been given this medicine to help break up the pockets and it’s helping but today 1/10 she is too weak to have that procedure done again. Leaving those pockets in there will form into abscesses and that we can’t have. Since she is having so much trouble she is unable to go to surgery even to have everything flushed out. She has to get stronger before they can do anything else. 

Since she’s been in the hospital they have done cultures on the infection in her chest and found 6 different organisms in her chest that shouldn’t be there. They are trying to treat all them with a Antibiotic fluids but today we noticed she is up 28 pounds in fluid on her tissues and she can’t have anything to help remove the fluid due to her blood pressure. 

I just want my sister to get better and come home but the last thing I want for her is to worry about bills since her and Chad her husband are unable to work right now with no paid time off. Any help that you can provide for them financially would be a huge prayer answered. The hospital already told them they have crappy insurance and will have lots of medical bills. 

Please continue to pray for Heather to get better and for Chad to have the strength to get thru all this. Also pray for Jax their 10 year old son who just wants his Mom and Dad home to get back to a normal life.
