Benefit for Sparks

Mark went into hospital in July for a new hip.  Everything was going great until October when an infection was found.  They removed the hip replacement and put a “spacer” in its place.  He was to go on antibiotics for a month and then hopefully another new hip.  After waiting two months they did surgery for cultures just to be sure he was clear. Finally, a week later, after all the waiting and non-working he was scheduled for surgery and a new hip in the first week of January. Three months after the initial infection.  

As they were prepping him for surgery the doctor found more infection, which we later found out wasthe “spacer” so now Mark has to endure another six weeks of no mobility and no work.  He cannot collect disability and unemployment is not an option because he cannot work.

I, as his wife, am honestly more concerned about his mental health then paying the bills.  We are throwing a benefit for Mark at the bar (RT Quinlan’s) with a tentative date of March 7, 2020.  Please call the bar to confirm date.  What he needs more than anything is to see all of you.  THIS WILL BE  SURPRISE for Sparks ⚡️ so mums the word please!
