Benefit for Roxie & Omar Gonzales

We set up Omar’s brother, Rick Gonzales (legal name Cruz Enrique Gonzales) as beneficiary at this point, in an effort to not bother Omar and Roxie during this difficult time. 

The unexpected death of a child is a loss that no one could ever prepare for. But for one family to experience it twice in the span of 4 short years, is absolutely unimaginable.

Our beloved friends, Omar & Roxie Gonzales, lost their precious baby girl Elise, in February of 2018, to a rare medical condition; and sadly, on Wednesday morning, November 16th, their beautiful baby boy Case, 23 months old, joined his older sister in Heaven.

Roxie and Omar are amazing parents who have loved not only their own precious babies, but have also touched the lives of many, many others throughout the years. Roxie is the principal of our local Elementary school and Omar is an ag teacher and FFA advisor at a neighboring school district. They have given of their time and talents selflessly to many many children over their years as educators.

The Gonzales’ are holding tightly to their 3 year old daughter, Emery, who is struggling to understand the sudden loss of her baby brother.

While we cannot take away their pain, we can help this young, loving family with the many financial burdens they now face. Please consider donating as they lay their son to rest and take the time away from work to grieve and heal. Also, please pray! Pray for a peace that surpasses all understanding. We know God’s plan is good… but right now it is very, very hard to understand. Pray to strengthen their faith and the faith of an entire community that loves them and grieves along with them.
