Benefit for Mr. & Mrs. Paco

Hi, this is Jeff Goldstein and I'm fundraising for Vicki and Paco. As you all know Paco has been diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. The burden of this diagnosis is, to say the least, extreme. Aside from the rigors of the disease and therapy there is the additional stress of finances. Thankfully they have very good health insurance which reduces the burden some. But Vicki is necessarily at home caring for Paco and not working. Additionally there are co-pays, supplies and necessary extraordinary expenses, along with all the regular monthly living expenses. In addition to the illness itself, the emotional toll and the financial implications require we step up and help in any way we are able.

We all know Vicki and Paco are extraordinary individuals who have become dear to all our hearts over the years. They won't say it themselves, but they need our help. So I am reaching out to you all to please help by sending a bit of yourself along to help them out financially.

There will be a Benefit Concert for Paco at The Heartwood Soundstage on January 21st; Doors open at 3:00pm, free concert starts at 3:30pm and will run until ~7:45pm. There will be additional ways to donate listed online in social media and at the benefit concert should you not wish to use GoFundMe. Also, there will be an opportunity for you to speak about Paco at the benefit concert. Please let us know on social media if you wish to do so.

We made a decision yesterday afternoon to move the benefit concert outside due to the overwhelming response and the number of people expected. But Our experience with the extreme cold at Saturday nights concert informs us it's just too cold out to do that. So we have again changed our minds and plan on doing the concert indoors in the sound stage. We will squeeze as many folks as we can inside but some may end up outside viewing it live through the windows on the outdoor stage or on the video monitors, we will have heaters outside. However, I will ask that everyone PLEASE very wear warm clothing to the benefit this afternoon and evening. Should the weather forecast change for the better we may indeed move it back outside.
