Benefit for Elise and Kelsie (Chaffee) Spencer

On October 3rd, 2020 Petty Officer First Class Lincoln Spencer, USN lost his life in a motorcycle accident while stationed in San Diego, CA less than one month after he and his wife, Kelsie (also PO1 USN) celebrated the birth of their first child, Elise. While financial burden pales in comparison to the loss of Lincoln they are no less real and no less pressing. As soon as Kelsie is out of Maternity leave she must return to her duties with the USN and at this time is well down waiting lists for on-base child care leaving her with the current sole option of private childcare which as any parent or friend of a parent knows is a huge expense well in excess of 1,000 a month in addition to the day to day living expenses and necessities while stationed on the West Coast. Kelsie will now additionally have to face all of this while mourning and without the aid of Lincoln….but we’re going to do our best to make sure that she and Elise don’t have to tackle it all alone. It is for these reasons that we, Kelsie’s family have started this benefit for the sole purpose of aiding these two amazing ladies through the unthinkable. A huge thank you to all who take the time to read this and to all who are able to give even the smallest amount to help. We know times are tough for many and financial help is not always an option but prayers and well wishes go no less appreciated :) PLEASE SHARE! And thank you all again from the bottoms of our hearts! #4ELISEnKELSIE
