Benefit for Jaxon Wheeler

Donation protected
Jaxon is a 1 1/2-year-old boy born on December 24th, 2017 with  Congenital Hydrocephaly, a condition in which excessive fluid accumulates on the brain.

When he was only 1 day old he underwent brain surgery to implant a shunt to drain the fluid.

When he was 6 months old he had spine surgery to detether his spinal cord.

Jaxon now needs to have Craniofacial reconstruction surgery at the end of November. 2019. This is a major surgery in which the doctors will remove the enlarged portion of his skull and attempt to reshape it. He will be in the ICU at Children's Hospital for at least 5 days with a long recovery afterward.

Jessica is a single parent, RN at the Buffalo VA Hospital who will have to take several weeks off in order to care for Jaxon.

A benefit is being held for Jaxon and Jessica on:

November 3rd, 2019 from 1pm-4pm
Skoobs Village Grill
Lancaster, NY 14086

Tickets will be available at the door.
