For those of you who are not aware, my lifelong friend Jason Balter went in for a routine colonoscopy just before Christmas resulting in the discovery of 2 polyps, one of which was determined to be cancerous. Surgery was performed to remove a section of his colon and lymph nodes to ensure that all of the cancer was removed. I am thankful to report that the pathology from the surgery came back with good results although frequent check ups and annual colonoscopies are in his future. As anyone can imagine, an unforeseen health emergency like this can put a tremendous burden not only on your physical but also financial health. I am hoping together we can help ease the family's burden while he recuperates. The funds raised will help his family with medical/hospital bills and monthly expenses as Jason has been unable to work for just under a month as a result of this unexpected event. Those of you who know Jason know he is one of the kindest and most giving men on earth. I ask that if you have anything to spare please take this opportunity to give to someone who means a great deal to so many others. In addition to monetary donations, any gift of time to help with anything else the family is in need of during Jason's recovery (i.e. yardwork) would be sincerely appreciated. Please act quickly as expenses will be due soon. A sincere and heartfelt thank you in advance to all donors for your hard earned time, money, and attention.
