Benefit for Isaac Walden Medical Bills
Donation protected
Today, we’d like to introduce a family member of Island Airco. Isaac is 8 years old and the son of one of our lead installers, Rodney Walden. Most of you know Rodney as he was born and raised in Carroll County and is a 27-year member of the Island Airco team.
We hope this post raises awareness and possibly produces some community support for Isaac.
Isaac is just like any other boy his age. He loves anything outdoors, RC cars, and helping his dad on their farm. Recently, Isaac paid us a visit to Island Airco, where he participated in our weekly meeting. He helped with the meeting and even won a few prizes.
Isaac’s story dates a couple of months back. He was checked into Children’s Hospital Springdale, where an event took place that required him to be flown by helicopter, “Angel Flight,” to Children’s Hospital Little Rock. He remained there for over a week, receiving numerous blood transfusions and tests. He was eventually diagnosed with Severe Aplastic Anemia, a condition in which his body fails to make red blood cells. As a result, Isaac has bone marrow damage and will require a bone marrow transplant.
Luckily, a donor has already been identified, and the transplant is scheduled soon. The procedure will take place at Children’s Hospital Little Rock. Once in the hospital and after the procedure, he will be there for at least 3-5 months.
This whole family is very dear to our hearts here at Island Airco, as well as MANY MANY MORE throughout Carroll County!
We want to help in any way we can to help lift the financial burden on them so they can focus all their time and attention to Isaac during this difficult time.
Thank you in advance for anything you can provide!
This go fund me account is linked to an account that goes directly to the family!
