
Benefit for Eddie Davis Jr
Eddie Davis Jr, harness driver by profession has been sidelined for at least 8 months due to having an emergency craneotomy surgery on June 24, 2021 to relieve a severe bleed on his brain. Eddie Jr has driven in over 41,000 races logging 5,306 wins, 5,449 seconds, 5,755 thirds. Along with his driving career, he and his wife Janet are self employed operators of their standardbred racehorse farm. Their business has been put on hold while Eddie recovers and his wife Janet serves as his primary caregiver. Janet has been recognized by the Harness Horse Youth Foundation at a banquet hosted by the United States Harness Writers Association for her many charitable efforts over the years by organizing and supporting fundraisers and events for local families, various charities and communities both within and outside of the racing industry. Donations are being requested in their time of need, proceeds from this benefit are greatly appreciated and will help to cover Eddie's medical expenses.
