Benefit for Deb and Terry Rupp

Hello, my name is Mindi. My sister, Nicki, and I are raising money for our parents, Deb and Terry Rupp.

For those of you who don't know our story, our mom tested positive for Covid on November 16, 2021. She has been in two different hospitals fighting Covid pneumonia since November 23. She has also had multiple bacterial infections and bacterial pneumonia. She was taken into the ICU on December 6 and placed on a ventilator, and then had a tracheostomy done a couple weeks later. They almost lost her Christmas Eve due to a hemorrhage. She had to have emergency surgery, and we later found out that they had snipped her jugular. She has gone through so much these past few months, and the doctors thought for sure she wasn't going to make it. Our mom has a very long road ahead of her. We are unsure of our next step, but she is getting stronger each and every day.

As you can imagine, this has put a significant emotional and financial strain on our family.

Our mom is a very caring and loving woman. She was a personal caregiver, and she took pride in taking care of others. She always puts others before herself.

This GoFundMe would greatly help our parents get caught up on bills, medical expenses, traveling expenses, and so forth. Our dad was also off work for weeks fighting Covid at home.

Our family and church family are also holding a spaghetti dinner benefit and auction on February 26, 2022 if you are able or would like to attend. It is being held from 3pm-7pm with takeouts starting at 2pm.
