Benefit for Cindy Outhouse
Donation protected
On July 1st, Cindy Lee Outhouse suffered a hemorrhagic stroke on the right side of her brain while at work. A hemorrhagic stroke, also known as an intracerebral hemorrhage, or an ICH occurs when a blood vessel ruptures and blood accumulates in the tissue around the rupture. This puts pressure on the brain and causes a loss of blood to the surrounding areas. This has resulted in Cindy losing feeling and severe deficit on the left side of her body.
Cindy is now recovering in Unit 7 where she is receiving therapy twice a day. The physio and occupational therapy is very intense as well as mentally and physically draining. Once Cindy gets discharged, she will have to drive to Charlottetown three times a week for therapy at the QEH. Cindy will have a battle to fight for sure. Returning to work will not be something in the near future for Cindy and this GoFundMe campaign is created to help them with general financial support for the family as they face this battle together.
There are fundraising accounts set up at both the CIBC and Credit Union for anyone who would like to donate but can not do it online through this campaign.
Thank you all for your support, thoughts and prayers for Cindy, Ronnie, Symonne, Jesse and Jacob.
