As most of you know, our dear friend, Bill Vaughn, was in a motorcycle accident on Saturday, March 26th. He was airlifted to Rapides General, and it was quickly discovered that he had no feeling from his chest down. After all the scans & tests, the doctors have said he is for sure paralyzed from the chest down, several broken vertebrae (a couple are crushed), several broken ribs, broken wrist, fractured shoulder blade & bruised lung. He had surgery on Sunday, March 27th to stabilize his spine, and all went well.

As of right now, he will be at Rapides for another 2-3 weeks before being transferred to a rehabilitation/therapy facility. It’s unsure how long before his wife, Missi, will be able to return to work. Bill works for himself, so there’s no income from there right now.

Many expenses are and will arise, and one of the biggest concerns is modifications to their home. They will need ramps built, concrete drive/parking area, shower accommodations, etc that will help life at home be much easier on both Bill and Missi. This family is faithful, loving, giving to any and all. Please help us in helping them on this journey ahead of them.
