Benefit for Beth

Beth felt a growth on her tonsil, which eventually spread to a growth on the right side of her neck. After several attempts within 4 years of asking a handful of doctors to pay attention to her concerns, she was encouraged by a friend to have it checked out in a different county. After having a biopsy, MRI, CT and PET Scans completed, she was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer on October 22, 2019. She was quickly accepted into Stanford Cancer Center and is under the care of an amazing team.  Her treatment protocol will be 7 weeks of radiation and chemotherapy simultaneously, therefore requiring her to stay full-time in Palo Alto with 24-hour care. Caregiving needs will continue into the weeks she returns home from her treatment at Stanford.  

Funds that are raised will be used immediately to pay for medical bills, prescriptions, travel expenses and eventually her follow-up appointments.
