The Ohm Family - Benedict's Legacy

Dear Family, friends, neighbors.

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our Benedict. A wonderful husband, father, son, brother, and uncle beyond words. He passed peacefully in the comfort of his home holding his wife, while surrounded by his children and his mother, as he peacefully turned his gaze upwards and took his final breaths.

Although his life was cut too short, we know God in His perfect Will has a reason and a Perfect Plan. We might not understand It, but we all take comfort in this!

From the bottom of our hearts we thank you for all the Prayers, love and support you have shown the Ohm family. Please continue to especially keep Yanelle and their four little ones in your thoughts and prayers as they go through this difficult time.

Dear, Family, friends, neighbors.

As you all know, on December 31, 2022, Benedict was rushed to the hospital and later was diagnosed with a very aggressive brain tumor (Glioblastoma). After two surgical resections, radiation, several rounds of Chemotherapy, and other very strong medication, last week they received the devastating news that the tumor has really grown, and at this point doctors said there is nothing more they can do.

There are, however, alternative treatments (protocols) that are showing hopeful results. Unfortunately, these alternatives are not covered by insurance, and the costs are over $50,000. Since diagnosis, Benedict has also been faced with the hard decision to stop working, therefore adding another layer of challenges for the family.

We would like to ask you once again for your financial support and to storm Heaven with your prayers for Benedict and his family.

Estimados, Familia, amigos y vecinos.

Como todos saben, el 31 de diciembre de 2022, Benedict fue trasladado de emergencia al hospital y posteriormente fue diagnosticado con tumor cerebral muy agresivo (glioblastoma). Después de dos operaciones, radiación, varias rondas de quimioterapia y otros medicamentos muy fuertes, esta semana recibieron la devastadora noticia de que el tumor realmente ha crecido, y en este punto los médicos dijeron que no hay nada más que puedan hacer.

Existen tratamientos alternativos (protocolos) que están mostrando resultados prometedores y que le gustaría comenzar de inmediato. Desafortunadamente, estas alternativas no están cubiertas por el seguro y el costo es de más de $50,000. Desde la diagnosis, Benedict tambien a tenido que tomar la dificil decisión de dejar al trabajo.

Nos gustaría pedirles una vez más su apoyo financiero y bombardear el Cielo con sus oraciones por Benedict y su familia.
