Hey, I'm Laura, Luis Angel's sister. Luis Angel is a happy, pokemon loving 10 year old. Unfortunately, he is currently at a children's hospital fighting a strong infection. The infection has caused a massive amount of swelling which has caused him to go into heart failure, to have difficulty breathing and to have fevers reaching over 103. Doctors said if he didn't improve, he would require intubation. He is on 4 different antibiotics and extremely weak. Just a week ago he was a healthy little boy playing badminton, but this infection has progressed so fast. We are still trying to figure out what it is which requires extensive, expensive testing, a long stay at the hospital and a lot of anxiety in our family as we hope he gets better.

My parents are forced to take time off work to be by his side and comfort him. They aren't the type of people to ask for help even when they really need to and need it so I've taken the initiative to start this fundraiser in order to relieve their stress about money so they can focus on my brother. Truly, any little bit would help pay medical bills and allow my parents, mainly my dad, to stay with him as long as possible.
