As many of you know, this past holiday season I incurred a rather serious injury whilst training my circus skill. I fell off of my equipment, subluxed my elbow and snapped a few ligaments. Although I am grateful for my California Health Care, the surgery was not covered under my plan. Due to the circus skill I perform, having a reconstructive elbow surgery was necessary for me to perform ever again!! Luckily, with the help of my sweet sweet mother, I was able to see a Sports Medicine doctor and underwent a surgery known as "Tommy John" just in time to save my career and my health.
Now I need your help! The surgery and physical therapy was billed as $20,000. Although I am on a payment plan, the procedure has left me with very limited mobility in my arm and 6 months before I am cleared to stand on my hands. This limited mobility has left me with limited income. But, enough with the sad story... here is how you can help me (please, if you can) get back on my hands! With the help and support of my friends, there will be a benefit party where you can come drink, eat, be properly entertained, buy fancy things, and have a joyous time dancing the blues away!
