Memorial Bench for Arnold Barton
Donation protected
We are raising money to have a memorial bench and plaque installed on the corner of 6th St. & Central Ave. in Tracy, CA. Arnold would stand there every morning to spread love and share the word of God with the Tracy community as they headed off to work and school. Always smiling, Arnold always had a kind word and some encouragement for those that he had a chance to speak to. A self-styled motivator, Arnold was very active in the Tracy community for many years, volunteering at the Lolly Hansen Senior Center, and through many activities with People of Christ Missionary Baptist Church, such as witnessing door to door. Arnold loved to sing and dance, and most know him for doing just that as he stood on his corner every day, rain or shine. Because of his love for Tracy, and the many people that he touched along his journey, we thought it would be appropriate to have something permanent placed there where he stood for so long. As an honor to his memory for all of those that he touched along his amazing journey. And what better than a bench to help you rest along yours!Thank you to everyone in advance!! Arnold would be grateful.
