As many of you know, alongside ambulance life, I also compete in powerlifting. This September, I’ve qualified to compete at the World Championships in Belgium. And I honestly still can’t quite believe it!

Over the last few years, I’ve managed to bring home both bronze and silver medals, and this year I’m chasing the gold to complete the collection. In March 2026, I also became National Champion, so the odds are high, and I’m going to give it absolutely everything I’ve got.

Competing at this level comes with a lot of costs though. Including Flights/Eurotunnel, competition entry fees, accommodation, kit, travel and all the extras that quickly add up. I’m hoping to raise around £400–£500 towards the trip to help take some of the pressure off financially.

I know times are hard for everyone at the moment, so I’m genuinely not asking for huge donations at all. Even the smallest amount honestly helps more than you know, and sharing this post means just as much.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read this, and for supporting me on this journey. Hopefully I can make you all proud and bring home that gold ❤️
