My husband Patrick Sabo is a rotarian and caretaker of the 44-acre Chandler Estate Park in Mount Sinai, NY. He began clearing the park a few months before the pandemic began, and it has been a welcome retreat for many families and individuals seeking fresh air, tranquil water and woods views, and a sense of peace. On Monday, June 7, Pat's dear brother passed, Jay Sabo, also a lover of the outdoors. Jay has accompanied Pat to this park, and they have admired its waterside views. Recently, Pat cleared the bluff of the park overlooking the harbor and Long Island Sound (pictured) and we would like to place a bench here with a plaque commemorating Jay Sabo.  The funds would be used for purchasing the bench and plaque, and would be managed by Pat.
