Bench for Bridget
Donation protected
Bridget Anne Thomasina McElroy was a shining light. She was kind, hilarious, generous, diligent, thoughtful, and brought out the best in everyone. The world lost Bridget’s physical form on October 7, 2021, but her light will shine on for everyone who loved her and was lucky enough to be loved by her in return.
Bridget spent much of the pandemic with her beloved friends, Dan and Ashley, back home in Boston. The Arnold Arboretum became one of her favorite places to spend time. Bridget’s friends would like to dedicate a memorial bench in her honor at the Arboretum so that her memory may continue to bless those who knew and loved her, and anyone else seeking a moment of peace or refuge amongst the trees.
The funds raised will be donated to Arnold Arboretum for the installation of a memorial bench. Any amount raised above the cost of bench and memorial site will be donated to the Duke Cancer Center.
We love you, B. ❤️
