Benafim Dogs is a privately run dog sanctuary in the Algarve. We care for on average 30 rescue dogs.

As we are not a government entity, we get no help in terms of funding....

Some months can cost over 5,000 Euros to even keep the lights on. Even with the generosity of our amazing supporters, we often fall short, which means the dogs cannot get the help they need. Whether that be vet bills, medication, special foods or even blankets.... It all adds up!

If you can spare even a small amount, we would be eternally grateful!
