Uncertainty is scary, especially when it involves a 16 year old kid.
Ben Starr is a student at Fort Hill High School where he plays football and basketball for the infamous Sentinels. Anyone that knows Ben knows that he would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need and is the most caring 16 year old boy any parent could ask for.
Unfortunately, he and his family have been through a lot this week and are still waiting on a more definitive medical diagnosis. During his time at Johns Hopkins, his mother, Jill Starr, and father, Dave Starr, will be by his side day and night; therefore, we are hoping to raise money to help with whatever costs may arise. One of Ben's doctors referred to him as one tough dude, so when you share this post, please include the hashtag #OneToughDude!
