Taking the Leap for a Cause Close to My Heart
Adventure and helping others have always gone hand in hand for me. I’ve spent years chasing new experiences — the kind that make your heart race and remind you how alive you are. So when the opportunity came to take on a charity skydive in support of the National Rheumatoid Arthritis Society, it felt like the perfect way to combine my love of adventure with something that truly matters.
This cause is deeply personal to me. My wife Allie, who is only 28, has lived with Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis since she was a young child. Every day I watch her face challenges that most people would never think twice about. Simple things — getting out of bed in the morning, tidying the house, or even going for a short walk — can sometimes become exhausting and painfully difficult.
Despite this, she tackles life with a level of determination, strength, and resilience I didn’t even know was possible. While living with this condition has been her normal for so long, I know it shouldn’t have to be. Seeing what she faces every day makes it impossible to ignore how much more support, research, and understanding are still needed.
That’s why I’m taking the leap — quite literally on Sunday 16th August 2026.
By committing to a charity skydive, I’m hoping to raise funds and awareness for the National Rheumatoid Arthritis Society, helping support the vital research, resources, and services they provide to people living with rheumatoid arthritis.
The jump itself may only last a few minutes, but the impact we can make together could last far longer. My goal is to bring people together to support those living with this debilitating condition and to help create a future where fewer people have to face the barriers that rheumatoid arthritis brings.
Every donation, no matter the size, will help make a difference. All donations go directly to the charity. Thank you for supporting this cause and helping turn one jump into something far bigger.
