On Sunday, the 19th of July 2026 My beloved brother Kieran Murphy tragically lost his life, following a battle with his mental health.
For those of you who never had the pleasure of meeting my brother, he was the most thoughtful, kind and inspiring son, friend and sibling who always put others first. Whenever he walked in to a room he lit it up, and his smile, laugh and fantastic sense of humour was impossible to ignore. There is going to be a massive hole left in our family and friends lives, and we would love nothing more than to be able to raise money for local charities to provide support for those who need it most.
Kieran was set to be climbing Ben Nevis with a group of our friends on the 12th August, and now we will be battling this climb together in his memory, just over year on from when we climbed Scafell Pike.
When me and Kieran tackled Scafell together, it was one of the most rewarding and invigorating things that we had ever done, and I am so happy that I was able to experience this with him. This time it will be different, this will be for him in his memory. This challenge will be an extremely symbolic journey for all of us and we will ensure that it is completed for him.
Nobody should ever have to suffer in silence, this is why we are asking for your support. to be able to give to those who need it most. No amount is too little, and any shares and reposts will be greatly appreciated.
Riff in Peace, Smurf. your legacy will live on through all of us, forever. We love you x
