Hi, my name is Raymond Mathews, I’m fundraising for the funeral of my nephew Ben Mathews.

Ben passed away on Thursday 21st March 2024. Tragically Ben was taken from us after being hit and killed by a 4WD in the Armidale area.

Ben was only 17 years old, he was the eldest of three brothers who miss him dearly. Ben was loved by everyone, he never had a shortage of friends who wanted to spend time with him. Ben loved spending time with his extended family. He would often be with his younger brothers, online gaming, fixing cars, fishing and helping his grandparents around the farm.

At the age of just three years old, Ben, his brother William now aged 16 and Oscar now aged 15, came into the care of their grandparents, whom have been there primary care givers ever since.

Ben’s sudden death has left a huge hole in all of our hearts. He is missed dearly by all.
