It is with the heaviest hearts that we share the devastating news that Ben Lyng passed away unexpectedly and far too soon. There really aren’t words for how unfair this feels. Ben was so loved, and his loss has shaken everyone who knew him.

Ben and Emmie had just started a new chapter when they moved in together less than 3 weeks ago, and were building a life side by side. In the midst of unimaginable grief, Emmie is now facing the stress and uncertainty of navigating everyday life without her “Benny” — while doing her best to keep things stable for her children, and Bens son Callum during this heartbreaking time.

As friends, we want to wrap Emmie and Callum in as much support as possible and help ease some of the financial pressure they’re facing. This fund is to help with whatever Emmie and Callum feel is most needed, including funeral arrangements, household bills, and any unexpected costs that come with such a sudden loss.

We also hold Ben’s family close in our thoughts as they grieve the loss of a beloved son, father, family member, and friend. This loss has touched so many, and our hearts are with all who loved him.
