Ben Lomond for British heart foundation

I'm raising money in aid of British Heart Foundation and every donation will help. Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me as my auntie has hypertrophic cardiomyopathy which is thickening of the heart muscle.

After her diagnosis she was told that all blood relatives had to be tested for the gene, me being one of them. I went and got blood tests and a heart scan and luckily no one else had it.

she has regular 3 week visits to monitor her and she always speaks so highly of the staff, and how much they have put her at ease and coached her through the process, she really struggled mentally with having a pace maker fitted which is hopefully a life saving mechanism if her heart should stop. My aunt is so lucky to have had the warning signs, but some are not so lucky and that is why i want to raise money for this charity as i think its something that needs constant awareness.
