Ben Lesser was a bright, energetic, positive young man who was an avid runner, loved to be outdoors, and a pleasure to have known.  Ben lost his battle with leukemia after a heroic 17 months.  Ben spoke of his desire to set up a foundation or non profit to improve our National Parks and Outdoor Spaces.  Karen will carry on Ben's legacy and love of outdoors by establishing this organization .  Many people have asked how they can help honor Ben and support Karen.  If you wish to donate, Karen can add these funds to the organization as she finalizes this.  The memories of Ben's vibrant smile will continue to light up our lives.
