Ben Kelley (late son of Maryanne Kelley)

Maryanne, a recently retired Martin school occupational therapist, is known to live for her family, specifically her boys, Jack and Ben. She continuously dedicates herself to shaping these young boys into outstanding strong young men. Tragically, an unthinkable fatal car accident stole her younger son Ben at the young age of 18. Truly an event no mother should ever have to live through. Maryanne also recently suffered the loss of her mother and has selflessly taken on the responsibility of caring for her father in her home. He is dealing with progressive and disabling Parkinson's disease.
As a single mom, Maryanne has always worked hard and creatively managed to pay bills to support her boys' education and development. Maryanne Kelly provided exceptional occupational therapy services to the Joseph W. Martin school community for over 17 years. She continuously delivered her services to students from Kindergarten to 5th grade, maintaining a high standard of excellence and strong rapport. She would often laugh with her students and colleagues as she went about her work, keeping a positive attitude and a high work ethic. Always incredibly creative, she often found ways for her students to meet their challenges or help them accommodate for any delays or weaknesses. Her work and presence appeared seamless within the school day. She was a very talented school-based occupational therapist.
Last year, she made the difficult decision to retire from the North Attleboro school system as her body could no longer handle the rigor of day to day grind of working as a school-based OT. Maryanne is now faced with paying for Ben’s funeral expenses which can exceed $8,000. Our goal is to help Maryanne pay for these expenses, which should greatly help in her time of need. Thank you for all of your love, prayers and donations.
