Ben Hardy

Hello, my name is Kirstie, I’ve been asked by my mum to set up this fundraiser to help with the costs of funeral/wake expenses for my brother.

Ben was 37 years old, a very very talented chef who loved his work. He never stayed in one place for long, and travelled the country working his dream career.

Ben was at his happiest when he was either in a kitchen, at a music festival, or near the coast.

Ben was working in Worcestershire just for the festive/new year period, and tragically lost his life early Christmas Day morning when a fire broke out on the houseboat he was staying on as accommodation.

My mum devastatingly received a visit from the police later on Christmas Day to inform her.

I can’t put into words how devastated we all are, Ben leaves behind our mum, step dad, nieces, nephews, great nephews.

We are hoping to raise funds towards Bens funeral/wake as being so foot loose and fancy free, Ben at only 37, had never thought about putting things in place.
