Hi, my name is Davis, and I’m fundraising on behalf of my dear friends Alex and his wife, Kirsty, who have tragically lost their beloved son, Ben – far too soon.

Those who knew Ben will remember him as a vibrant and imaginative young boy — full of laughter, determination, and creativity, all while navigating life with autism and ADHD.

In his father’s words, Ben was a cheeky, funny, intelligent, and endlessly creative young soul. He brought light and laughter into their home every single day, filling their lives with joy and love.

Recently, Ben was admitted to Glenfield Hospital with an infection. He was stable and being lovingly cared for by both his family and the hospital staff. However, during his stay, doctors discovered an underlying condition. On the 14th of August, Ben passed away suddenly and without pain.

Alex and Kirsty are incredibly grateful for the outpouring of love and support from everyone who knew Ben and their family — both over the years and now, during this time of deep grief.

This fundraiser has been set up to help cover the unexpected funeral costs, including the memorial, service, and other related expenses. Any amount raised beyond the target will be donated to a cause meaningful to the family.
