Whether you are a parent, spouse, or sibling you will be moved by Ben's circumstances.  Situations like this just shouldn't happen to good people. 

Ben Goodhue is a teacher and coach at Beverly High School (Beverly, Massachusetts).    Ben returned to Massachusetts after graduating Union College where he excelled at football.  He has dedicated himself to improving his community and providing a positive impact on everyone that he interacts with.   Recently, Ben was diagnosed with a rare type of brain cancer called glioblastoma (grade 4).   On January 5, 2017 Ben had brain surgery to remove the tumor and due to the aggressive nature of this disease he will start chemotherapy and radiation immediately.   

Ben’s lovely wife Sarah, is also a teacher and they are expecting their first child this July.   As you can imagine, medical expenses are piling up which is especially challenging on teachers’ salaries with a child on the way.    
Those of us that know Ben know he is a fighter and he will fight this disease like no other.  Please take the time to support Ben and his family - both with a donation and a prayer.
