Reaching out for support is not something that comes naturally to me and I have toyed with this option since we lost Ben so suddenly but running it past others so many have supported it and our reasons behind it.

As you know my lovely brother Ben died suddenly on Monday leaving behind his amazing boys Zak and Jake, far too young to be losing their Dad and knowing the rest of their lives will be without him by their sides cheering on his little big dudes breaks my heart. He also left behind Leigh who had supported him through sickness and health and has been robbed of her future with him.

Ben had been off of work for 5 months because of his hearing and had recently had an operation and been given hearing aids, things were looking up for him. He was back on a phased return to work and was absolutely chuffed to be getting some normality in his life. Because of another bout of sickness last year Ben was only receiving statutory sick pay so what little savings he had have diminished and left him with no money for his funeral, for the boys future or to treat them and create new memories with our family and also to help Leigh back on her feet and be able to stay in the flat.

So I'm reaching out if you knew Ben, the guy with time for everyone, with so much kindness in his heart and the big infectious laugh please can you contribute to this memorial fund so we can give him the send off he deserves and support in some way those left behind.
