You may know Ben Dyer by the beautiful jewelry he has created since the 1980s or one of his students or friends. Ben has been a fixture in the crafts, jewelry and metalsmithing communities in NC and the US. In addition, he has been a mentor to so many students and craft artists.

 

Ben was diagnosed with multiple myeloma in April 2022, and since then, he has had other health complications. In May, he was hospitalized for several weeks before starting physical therapy and chemo. The hope is that he will be in remission following the treatments. Until then, expenses are piling up that insurance doesn’t cover.

 

Your donation today will help in many ways, including paying travel expenses to and from the chemo treatments, drugs that aren’t covered by his insurance, nursing home costs, and the additional costs of fighting cancer.
