In Loving Memory of Sam & Danny: Supporting Mental Health and Suicide Prevention

We tragically lost two incredible people, Sam Grant and Danny Cassidy, both of whom struggled with their mental health. Sam’s life was cut short in an accident, and Danny’s was lost to suicide, both of which left a deep hole in our hearts. As we continue to navigate this unimaginable pain, we are determined to honor their memory by supporting a cause that meant so much to them: mental health awareness and suicide prevention.

To do this, their family and friends are climbing Ben A’nn this June in support of The Anchor Greenock, a charity dedicated to mental health support and suicide prevention. The team at The Anchor work tirelessly to provide help and resources to those struggling with mental health challenges, ensuring that no one has to face these battles alone.

This fundraiser is a way for us to honor Sam and Danny’s lives, raise awareness about the importance of mental health, and contribute to a charity that supports others who are going through what Sam and Danny did. The funds we raise will go directly to The Anchor to help continue their vital work in supporting people who need it the most.
