Only a week ago the earth looked brown and impervious to the possibility of spring. Today the warming smells and beauty of growth are everywhere and multiplying. This parallels the phenomenal and abundant response from a community that one seldom sees in its fullness, but is clearly present and ready to surround Ben and Zoe in a time of need with a warmth and love that is moving and goodness-affirming.

Hello, My name is Frances and I've set up this gofundme to support my nephew Ben and his wife Zoe.
You may have heard of a couple in Minneapolis in 2020 who set up a food shelf in their front yard for anyone who needed the essentials or some treats. It was a huge support in their neighborhood during Covid and continues still. This is Ben and Zoe – whose home is always there for those in need. Now they need support.
Please help Ben and Zoe as they deal with medical costs, loss of income and the cost of an in-home care provider as Ben recovers from 8 weeks in the hospital where he was treated for acute pancreatitis and related complications. It's been a really rough few months, and his recovery will take some more months yet.
After looking at the implications of insurance deductibles, medications, loss of income and in-home care, Zoe's conservative estimate for how much they need is $20,000. I'm sure we can quickly meet that goal and maybe offer a bit more, relieving them of the financial stressors so they can focus on recovery and healing. Ben and Zoe are two of the most generous, selfless and caring people many of us know - let's help them out.
