Ben and Mylinh Hamlington Fire Relief Fund
Donation protected
My longtime friends Ben and Mylinh Hamlington lost their home and all their belongings in the Eaton fire in Altadena, CA. They evacuated with their girls, Idgie and Bea, and their dogs to a hotel on Tuesday night, thinking they would return in the morning. But as many of you know, horrific winds and wildfire exploded in their neighborhood, claiming hundreds of homes within hours.
We created this page to allow their family and friends to pitch in on this long road to getting back on their feet. They didn't just lose a house, they lost their home of many years where they are raising 2 wonderful girls. It's their place of comfort and connection. The girls lost their favorite toys, their clothes, their backpacks, their recent Christmas presents. Ben and Mylinh lost their books, momentos collected on their travels, the colorful "little library" in their front yard, family photos, keepsakes and all the day to day items that are required to run their household.
These funds will be used to help them navigate expenses in the coming weeks, as they work to put the pieces of their lives back together. They have quite the network of friends from around the country, including their time in CO , VA and CA. No doubt your willingness to give and share this page will boost their spirits, as well. Thanks in advance for your generosity to them.
