Ben and Jena's Covid Relief Fund

Hey everyone.

The short story is that we got covid from Jena' taking on a ton more shifts at work to pay for Christmas and her bills and won't be able to work again for two weeks.

The longer story is that waitressing isn't paying what it used to, coupled with being a full time student, has caused Jena' to fall behind on her share of bills. This, in turn, has led to me leaning harder on credit to try and keep us a float, but we're reaching a breaking point. We discussed it, and the plan was for her to focus on completing finals and then to work a ton during the break to finally catch her and myself up. She did and started making progress, but her job put her in the line of fire. She took an at home test last night at midnight and it came back positive. She tested positive this morning at an urgent care as well, and I'm developing symptoms (ironically, we both got our booster this week but not soon enough [go get it]). She's hurt because she feels like she's ruined Xmas and my birthday, and on top that, will now not have rent or utilities again.

It pains me to even make this, and I don't expect anything close to the full amount, but I can't find or think of anything else at the moment. Anything you could throw us, $5 or $10, would greatly relieve some of the stress we're experiencing this holiday season. Any directions towards relief funds we might able to apply towards as well, but as far as I know almost nothing is left at this point.
