'BeMoreJosh' Skydive Sept 2024
'Better to live one day as a tiger than a thousand years as a sheep'
Josh had an amazing natural ability to help and inspire others, encouraging his friends and family to try something new, whilst sharing his love of the great outdoors, particularly in the mountains.
Therefore on Sunday 22nd September 2024, Josh's girlfriend Beth, his sister Katie, his Grandad Paul (age 80!), his Aunty Sue and friends Dan and Angie, will be doing tandem skydives and jumping out of a plane at 15,000ft in an attempt to 'BeMoreJosh'.
Josh was a shining light, kind, caring, adventurous and an inspiration to others. Josh packed so much in to his 17 years - he lived life to the full and always aimed high. He was curious about the world, exploring opportunities with great energy and enthusiasm. Many say he had experienced more in those 17 years than most of us ever would in an entire lifetime.
Work hard, play hard, seems to be our family mantra and Josh embraced this to the full. We miss him hugely in the great outdoors and in our home where his music and guitar filled our hearts with joy.
We're in the process of setting up a 'BeMoreJosh' website in memory of Josh to remind us all to seize the day and experience anything and everything we get the chance to!
For this first event we're raising money in aid of Lyme Disease UK and every donation will help. Thank you in advance for your contribution to this important cause that means so much to us.
Lyme Disease UK is a UK registered charity which focuses on raising awareness of the disease and supporting those living with Lyme disease and associated tick-borne illnesses.
