"We're On a Mission From God"

Hello everyone!

As many of you know, I have the privilege of serving St. Peter's Anglican Cathedral as the Missions & Evangelism Curate. M&E does a ton of exciting, Christ-centered work within the community of Tallahassee. We even have an exciting international ministry through partnerships with churches around the world.

Through this international ministry, I'm excited to share that we have two short-term mission trips coming up soon!!

From June 3rd to 10th, we will be visiting our partner church in Leon, Nicaragua! There, we will have the opportunity to help with construction projects, lead a youth conference for our younger disciples, and worship alongside our brothers and sisters in Nicaragua.

From September 9th to 22nd, we will be visiting South Rwenzori in Uganda! We will have teams working with and providing educational, relevant classes for the children, the parents, and the local clergy. We will also help them explore establishing their own prison ministry, and will bring the exceptional TARMAC ministry to engage the children and youths with the Gospel (through basketball!).

As the first missions curate of St. Peter's, I passionately want to establish a precedent that the missions curate goes on the mission trips. I have therefore committed to going on both of these, and am greatly excited to do so!

But if I'm going to do this ministry, I need a team around me...this is where you come in! The reality of international ministry is that we need a lot of prayers -- for a successful trip, for Christ to go before and with us, for Christ to minister to the people we meet, for physical and spiritual protection, for our families back home to have peace and safety, and many more -- and we need a lot of financial resources. To be specific, I need to raise about $3,000!
