BELOVED, a personal story and short film by Leah Tomlinson —
A young couple, Leah and Jacob, navigate the complexities of love and identity. They are in love, but when Jacob reveals his truth and begins to explore his queer identity, they embark on a journey of self-discovery and acceptance.
From Church pews to the Ballroom runway, they navigate the intersections of religion, culture, and sexuality; showcasing the fluidity and beauty of love. Inspired by true events, this film celebrates the diverse spectrum of human experiences, inviting viewers to embrace the power of love and community across all identities.
