Donation protected
Tae Ja Suh, passed away to be with the Lord peacefully on her bed at home on January 12, 2024. Tae Ja Suh, wife of Israel Suh, married December 22, 1981, in South Korea. At the age of 23 she moved to Los Angeles, California and was blessed with 3 children, Elizabeth, Mark, and Daniel. She followed her husband who was sent as missionaries to Colorado Springs, Colorado for a short season and then to Kazakhstan and served there from 1991 until 2001. She lived the rest of her life in Los Angeles serving and helping the less fortunate till her last day here on earth.
Tae Ja woke up every morning choosing to love God and people; she was energetic, generous, artistic, spiritual, faithful, doing good to all, and always dreaming of a better future. Only one place could satisfy her imagination of complete freedom, peace, and joy, and that was Heaven. She woke up for the final time in her new mansion, the only home she would ever own, a better place. She was dearly loved by all her family, and we celebrate her as she worships God in His glorious presence.
A few days before passing, in her last message to the family, she quoted Romans 14:8: “For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's.”
She modeled a life that will forever remain in the hearts of those whose lives she touched. Tae Ja is survived by her husband, 3 adult children, 6 grandchildren, and the greater church family in Los Angeles, Korea, and Kazakhstan. Celebrating the life of Tae Ja Suh on Friday, February 9, 2024, at Forest Lawn – Covina Hills “Church of Our Heritage” at 9:30 AM.
