On April 27th, 2021, we tragically lost a husband, father, brother, uncle, and beloved NYPD Officer. Officer Anastasios Tsakos of the NYPD Highway Patrol was taken from us far too soon. A 32-year-old woman who had expressed disdain towards the Police and their families on a Podcast just hours earlier while under the influence of alcohol and marijuana, struck Officer Tsakos with her vehicle as he was redirecting traffic from a previous fatal accident in Fresh Meadows, Queens, leaving him on the side of the road to die. She then fled the scene, leading to a police chase and her eventual apprehension. Tsakos leaves behind his beloved wife Irene and his two beautiful children, aged 3 and 6, who are devastated by his untimely loss. The emptiness felt by his family and closest friends is indescribable.

The family is so very touched by your words of love and support. Thank you all!

All proceeds will be donated to Officer Tsakos wife Irene and their 2 beautiful children. Thank you For Your Support . Stay safe and be smart.

God Bless the Tsakos Family!
