Sunday, November 22, 2020, Jenna Lin Breaux succumbed to stage 4 metastatic lung cancer and passed away in the company of her family at a local hospice center. Her battle with cancer was brief, being diagnosed only in September, leaving her daughter, Tara Cook, with little time to prepare for her untimely passing.

She didn't even have time to begin grieving her Mother's death before she was faced with the reality of losing her home that she has shared with her Mother and two daughters for years. 

Tara is not one for handouts, she has always gone above and beyond, selflessly doing for her friends and family. After giving it some thought Tara realized she has no other option at this point, and with her permission we are creating this fundraiser to help with the costs associated with her mother's passing. The cost of medical expenses are soon to come and she is now also presented with the burden of being the sole provider in her home, and trying to manage the cost of rent and bills. Tara can't imagine trying to uproot herself, her children and their pets at this time, especially during the holidays. She is trying to make it through the next few months at her current residence, then may consider searching for more affordable, stable housing.

We understand that times have been hard for all of us this year, however any amount of money or sharing will be greatly appreciated. All funds will go directly to Tara to help her and her daughter's in their time of need.
