My beloved mother Laurie Hooper (Veley) recently passed on Saturday, September 14th 2024. Laurie was a wonderful mother and grandmother. She meant everything to us and was the glue to our family. A true matriarch.

Mom is the best woman in the entire world. She was the first one to help everyone no questions asked. She loved her granddaughter's more than anything and sacrificed her entire life to make sure we were always taken care of, supported and safe. Now our tether is gone.

We are all devastated by the loss of Mom and were not prepared for the high cost of a funeral service. We want to give Mom the memorial she deserves, to honor her memory and say our last goodbyes. She struggled so much in life but no matter what she stayed so strong and always preserved. She does not deserve anything less than a beautiful last day with her granddaughters.

I am currently asking for donations to help cover the cost of Mom's funeral. We need to raise $10000 in order to be able to afford the funeral service, which was held on September 22nd 2024.

I am hoping that you guys can help us, anything is appreciated. We held a private small service for her she deserves the best of what little she asked for, I can not stress that enough. My mom has been through far too much to not get a goodbye as graceful as she is.

Mom was my everything. I do not know how to survive without her let alone give her what she deserved because she had too many hardships in life for this to be one after death. She is a literal princess and deserves to go to heaven as one. She is and will always be the most amazing woman who significantly impacted our lives and her loss leaves a hole like never before. We will miss her little snickers, her feisty personality, how unconditional and loving she was. She is remarkable and the true definition of a mother and caregiver.
