My beloved sister, Laura Ravain, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, August 3, 2025. Originally from New Orleans, LA, Laura had been making her way in life calling Baton Rouge, LA her home for the better part of 20 years. Larger than life, strong, ambitious, driven, positive and full of faith, Laura lived by being the example of everything she was. There wasn’t a person Laura wouldn’t help, and she showed love in everything that she did. Laura was the light to so many people with her can-do attitude, lifting them up in times of uncertainty, offering strength and a shoulder to lean on, while reminding them of all the reasons they mattered.
Laura’s unexpected passing leaves a void which can never be filled. We would like to honor Laura with a celebration of life and final resting honoring her memory. Laura will be laid to her final resting place surrounded by her father and other family members who have gone before her in New Orleans, LA.
Any amount is greatly appreciated. Please help us honor this precious light that God has called home. The exact date of her services are pending.
